It’s safe to say that I never imagined I would be running my own business of driving a dog day care shuttle, yet here I am, and I am so incredibly excited about it!
Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Kelly Roose. I grew up in Warrens, WI on a small horse farm. I spent my childhood climbing trees, riding horses, bailing hay, playing softball, basketball, singing, and taking care of the plethora of other animals we had on the farm. We had horses, dogs, cats, chickens, bunnies, birds, and even a couple Texas longhorns. Experiencing the childhood that I had gave me a deep love and appreciation for animals. Below you will see my dogs, Ahria & Wesley, along with my bird, Celeste!
I went to college in LaCrosse to become a beautician, although not long after graduating, I decided to take time to travel. I spent a year in the Boston area, headed down under to Australia, and then on to San Francisco. After getting engaged, my fiancé (now husband), Dan, and I decided to move back home to our roots in Wisconsin. We landed in the Madison area and now live in Waunakee with our 3 daughters. I have been a stay at home Mom since our twins were born in 2012. In that time, I have taught myself how to play both guitar and piano. In my limited free time, you will find me in my studio learning new songs to perform live shows locally around the Madison area. I have also become a highly experienced chauffeur, as I have been driving my kids to and from school, soccer, dance, gymnastics, horse lessons, etc. for years! I am thrilled to now be a shuttle driver for your dogs as they get to enjoy going to their favorite activity, daycare!
Over the past year, I have had the privilege of working at Zen Dogs Center part time. I have learned so much regarding dog behavior and have had a blast getting to know all of the dogs! My sister, Kori, is co-owner of Zen Dogs Center which makes this partnership even more exciting as Zen Dogs is quite literally my family!
I know from personal experience, that Zen Dogs Center is my dog’s favorite place in the world, so it will be my absolute pleasure seeing the happy faces as I chauffeur these “kids” to their favorite place as well! I can’t wait to see your dogs board the Posh Paws Limo and experience their joy ride to “school” with their friends!
